Anti-Aging Chemical Peel and MicroDermabrasion Treatments

What makes us appear older than we are? Quite simply the number one cause of most signs of aging  is the result of sun damage and oxidation.  These factors make our skin dull, creates brown spots and irregular pigmentation and results in fine lines and wrinkles.  Depending on the intensity of the treatment and whether you invest in anti-oxidant and sunscreens for home care, you will see results within a few treatments.  Some anti-aging treatments produces instant results, and some require a series of treatments.

Hyperpigmentation (Brown Spots, Liver Spots or Age Spots) is best treated with the Nia-Stem Brightening Facial, acid or chemical peels, microdermabrasion, home skin care and sunscreens to correct and protect.

Dull Skin and Fine Lines and Wrinkles can best be treated with Beyond Botox Facials, Nia-Stem Facials, Chemical Peels, and Microdermabrasion and Peel combination.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are the most popular cosmetic procedures in the U.S according to a 2003 survey by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The next most popular were Botox injections and laser hair removal.  There are different types of chemical peels classified into mild, medium, and deep treatments. Mild treatments such as the glycolic and salicylic acid chemical peels target fine lines and wrinkles and mild acne scars, while deep treatments (i.e. phenol chemical peel) target more severe problems such as coarse wrinkles, pre-cancerous growths, and prominent scars.  We perform mild and medium treatments and are happy to refer you to our local dermatologists and plastic surgeons for deep treatments.

A mild peel is generally suitable for most clients. Mild and medium peels normally require repeated treatments occurring as often as every four to six weeks (for light peels) and two to three months (for medium peels).   A peel and facial regime may be established that is suitable for your skin type and cosmetic objectives.  The lunch time peel or microdermabrasion and peel options are suitable for clients that want an immediate refresher with little to no risk of down time.

Skin Care Treatments

We have a solution for a variety of skin care problems. Cumulative exposure to the sun results in the most damaging and aging effects from brown spots to pigmented lesions. We will advise you to consult your physician or dermatologist for any questionable dark spots, scaly areas that should be seen by a physician or dermatologist for treatment.  Often your esthetician or hair dresser is your first line of defense in seeing signs of skin cancer in your hair or on your face.
